SOLUTION: The communication system is provided with: a facsimile machine having a print function: and a call center connected to the facsimile machine via a communication line. The facsimile machine includes: a read means for reading individual information of print components; and a transmission means for transmitting the individual information read by the read means to the call center device, and the call center includes: a reception means for receiving the individual information sent by the facsimile machine; a discrimination means for discriminating whether or not the individual information received by the reception means is effective; and a reply means for returning the result of discrimination by the discrimination means to the facsimile machine.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which has function which automatically determines a dialing system even if a line automatic selecting apparatus and a private branch exchange are interposed to a public line network, and further has function which can determine a dialing system for free. SOLUTION: A communication terminal 20 transmits a dial signal with either of a PB system and a DP system, and determines dialing system of a contract line by detecting presence or absence of dial tone from a public line network 10 after prescribed time duration passes from performing off-hook. The terminal 20 also transmits a special dial signal to be connected to the public line network 10 even if a PBX 50 and an ACR 60 are interposed, and determines a dialing system by detecting presence or absence of dial tone. Further, the terminal 20 detects presence or absence of connection of the PBX 50, transmits a dial signal after connection to an outside line, and determines a dialing system by detecting presence or absence of dial tone from the public line network 10.
