    • PURPOSE:To readily charge and discharge a filler block in a wet cooling tower even during its operation by providing openable openings for charging and discharging the filler block at the upper and lower portions of a filler layer in the tower. CONSTITUTION:Filler blocks 3 each having a shape such as porous sphere or porous polygon or the like are charged from an openable filler block inlet 11 having a door 15, and roll on a net 14 provided obliquely to thereby form a filler layer upon sequential lamination form the bottom. Warm water is supplied via a water splash unit 4 over the filler layer to make contact with the air introduced by a fan 7 during passage through the gap among the filler layers to be thus cooled and to then drop into a water tank 9. Then, the filler block 13 can be arbitrarily discharged from an openable filler outlet 12 having a door 15 provided at the bottom of the filler layer.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate cleaning of a sprinkler by lessening installation spaces of the sprinkler, an elminator is such a way that the sprinkler is constituted composing plural sprinkling gutters having sprinkling bores in a lattice wise together with an eliminator installed in the space surrounded with the sprinkling gutters. CONSTITUTION:A sprinkler 6 is constituted by connecting plural sprinkling gutters 11 having a multitude of sprinkling bores in a lattice wise on the bottom part. An eliminator 9 is provided in quadrate spaces surrounded with the sprinkling gutters 11. By constituting as this, even if installing intervals of the sprinkling gutters 11 are narrowed, necessary insufficient air flow passage area can be secured, and according as the intervals are set narrowed, sprinkling effect the same as hitherto can be obtained without providing water sprinkler as before. Besides, cleaning operation can be simplified with facility of economically manufacturing in such a way that units composed of the sprinkler 6 and the eliminator 9 are made as small blocks in mass production which are assembled.

    • PURPOSE:To obviate the necessity of seal between an air slide and a hopper and prevent dew-condensation on powdered granules by installing a pressure adjuster for reducing the pressure difference between in the conduits on an air slide side and a dust collector side and holding high, the temperature of the fluidizing gas by making the conduit as closed circuit. CONSTITUTION:Each pressure on a hopper 4 side and an air slide 6 side is always detected by pressure detectors 31 and 33 of a control box 33, and valves 18 and 20 are adjusted so that the difference between the both becomes zero. With such constitution, the flow of gas from the air slide 6 to the hopper 4 is suppressed, and rescattering of dust can be prevented. The exhaust gas discharged from the air slide 6 goes into a dust collector 13, passing through each branched exhaust pipe 15 and an exhaust pipe 12, and the exhaust gas from which dust is removed goes into a fan 7 through a circulation conduit 16, and supplied as fluidizing gas into the air slide 6 again, and dew-condensation on dust is prevented by the gas whose temperature is raised by the dust in this closed circuit.
