    • PURPOSE:To produce the tire with stable quality, while the accuracy of the position to be stuck of cushion rubber is heightened by a method in which the cushion rubber is divided and the divided parts are preset on a first belt and a carcass ply etc. CONSTITUTION:Cushion rubber 4 is divided into three, and its one part 4a is preset on a first belt 1a, the other part 4b is preset on a carcass ply 5 and its residual part is preset on a side tread 6. When air is injected into the carcass ply 5, and a bladder 9 is inflated by approaching the left and right cylindrical parts of a molding drum 8, the central part of the carcass ply 5 is expanded outside, and simultaneously when a bladder 10 is inflated by feeding air into the bladder, the carcass ply 5 and the side tread 6 is folded back by using beads 7 as a fulcrum. When its shaping is further advanced, this folded back part encloses the beads 7 and is brought in contact with the inner part of the carcass ply 5. When the bladder 11 is inflated, the force pressing the side tread 6 inside is increased, and the carcass ply 5 and the side thread 6 are mutually bonded in pinched and pressurized state between the bladder 11 and the inside bladder 9.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance of a tire having many sipings extended within the entire breadth of treads by making each siping have a shape bent in an angular form and sharpened toward the rotary direction of the tire so as to be symmetrical about the equator surface of the tire. CONSTITUTION:A heavy load pneumatic tire 11 has a plurality of main grooves 13 extending in a circumferential direction on the tread part 12 thereof, and many linear heavy sheetings 17 extending from one tread end 15 to the other tread end 16 are formed on land banks 14 at both sides of the main grooves 13. Each siping 17 is provided in parallel and apart at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. In this case, each heavy sheeting 17 is bent in an angular form at the equator surface 18 of a tire and so formed as to be linearly symmetrical about the equator surface 18. Also, the angular part of each heavy sheeting 17 is sharpened toward the rotary direction of the tire and made to cross the equator surface 18 at an angle (a) of 30 deg.-60 deg..

    • PURPOSE:To improve appearance and renewing ability prevailing during the final stage of wear, by a method wherein, in a heavy load tyre for buss and the like, a belt layer is formed with a main belt layer, wherein a metallic cord is used, and an auxiliary belt layer where cord selected from boron fibre, silicon carbide fibre is used. CONSTITUTION:A belt layer 5 is formed with a main belt layer 6 and an auxilia ry belt layer 7 located outside the main belt layer. The main belt layer 6 is formed by two main plies 6a, formed such that rubber-covered metallic cord is arranged at an angle of 30 deg. or less with the circumferential direction of a tyre, and a main ply 6b formed such that the cord is arranged at an angle of 70 deg. with the circumferential direction. An auxiliary belt layer 7 is formed by covering with rubber high strength fibre selected from boron fibre and silicon carbide fibre, and by two or less auxiliary plies 7a having maximum width W7 being 35-75% of a maximum width W6 of the main belt layer 6. This constitution improves durability of the belt layer and enables improvement of appearance and renewing ability prevailing during the final stage of wear.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the partial wear of a pneumatic tire by partitioning the outermost shoulder rib among a number of ribs partitioned by broad main grooves that are extended in the circumferential direction into two land regions that are continuous in the axial direction through stepped area. CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire in which a tread 1 is divided into at least three ribs 3 and 4 by at least two broad main grooves 2 that are extended in a zigzag along the circumferential direction of the tire, a shoulder rib 3 positioned at the outermost side of the tread 1 among the ribs is partitioned into at least two land regions 5 and 6 in the axial direction of the tire. In addition, a stepped area 10 that forms a step between these land regions 5 and 6 connects the adjacent land regions 5 and 6together that the inside end B of the outside land region 5 can be positioned low in the radial direction of the tire as compared with the outside end A of the inside land region 6. In this case, the width W5 of the land region 5 is set to 2 to 15% of the tread width T and the amount of step is set below 4% of the tread width T.
