    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that COremoval methods and devices using the conventional art are useful on the issue of suppressing scattering of amines, however, compounds emitted together with exhaust gas include not only base amines of an absorbing solution but also degradation products generated by oxidation degradation or thermal degradation, and therefore, regarding toxic refractory organic substances in the compounds, there is a need for a method for surely preventing emission of toxic refractory organic substances in the atmosphere from the viewpoint of the impact on the ecosystem.SOLUTION: A COabsorption device includes: a COabsorption tower 1 that brings combustion exhaust gas into contact with a carbon-dioxide absorbing solution and removes COin the gas; a regeneration tower 13 that heats the absorbing solution into which the COis absorbed and recovers the CO; absorbing-solution circulation lines 5, 10 that connect the absorption tower and the regeneration tower; and a heat exchanger 22 that is provided in the circulation lines and simultaneously executes cooling of the absorbing solution, from which the COis removed in the regeneration tower, and heating of a rich absorbing solution. The COrecovery device is configured to provide an ultraviolet-ray irradiation device 26 in the circulation line 5 of the absorbing solution returning from the regeneration tower 13 to the absorption tower 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus which can efficiently recover an amine from an absorption liquid containing HSS under atmospheric pressure in order to reduce the operating temperature of the reclaimer of the carbon dioxide recovery apparatus.SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide recovery apparatus includes an absorption tower which makes treatment gas containing carbon dioxide contact the absorption liquid containing an alkanolamine, a regeneration tower which heats the absorption liquid which absorbed carbon dioxide and recovers the carbon dioxide, and a heat exchanger which transports at least a part of the absorption liquid which has recovered the carbon dioxide by the absorption tower to the regeneration tower, transports at least a part of the absorption liquid which has released the carbon dioxide by the regeneration tower to the absorption tower as the absorption liquid of the carbon dioxide, and makes the absorption liquid exchange-heat with the liquid transported from the absorption tower to the regeneration tower, and also includes a piping system for connecting the regeneration tower and the heat exchanger and comprising a tank flushing the absorption liquid to reduce the pressure and separating the liquid into vapor and liquid and a reclaimer apparatus which adds a neutralizing agent to a part of the absorption liquid separated by the tank and then distills the absorption liquid.
