摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of an external facing plate and a method for installing the external facing plate, by which the external facing plate can be mounted rapidly while an appearance can be improved.
SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of the external plates 11, a joiner 13 is secured to a joint 12 between a pair of the adjacent external plates 11 and 11. Since a main body 13a is fixed directly onto a backing material 16 at a joint place and the surface edge end sections of each external plate 11 are covered in the joiner 13, a sealing need not be set up, and the external plates 11 can be fitted quickly. Since the main body 13a is covered with a cover 13b, the joint 12 can be concealed, and an appearance can be improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing plate mounting structure which allows quick mounting of a facing plate, and improves the appearance of a building.
SOLUTION: When the facing plates 11 are mounted on a substrate 12, edges of a pair of the external facing plates 11, 11 adjacent to each other are pinched by respective parting edge members 20 in a thickness direction, and a retaining member 30 is arranged astride front surfaces of the respective parting edge members 20, 20, followed by penetrating a fixing member 40 into the retaining member 30 to be fixed into the substrate 12. Therefore a caulking compound conventionally interposed between the adjacent facing plates 11, 11 is dispensed with, which contributes to quick mounting of the facing plates 11 and improvement of the appearance. Further even if the adjacent facing plates 11, 11 are different in thickness, they can be easily mounted on the substrate.
