摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing the bottom head penetration part of a vessel capable of reducing the time for which an operator must resides in a high radiation area. SOLUTION: The bottom head penetration part of the reactor vessel includes a tube fixed to the inner wall of the bottom head of the vessel by internal weld beads and projecting to the outside of the bottom head to form a groove part. The method includes a step of preparing a mockup for the bottom head penetration part of the vessel to be repaired, a step of disposing the mockup in the area where radiation is not present, a step of fixing two half inserts each having a profile corresponding to the profile of half of the groove part into the groove part of the mockup, a step of automatically forming weld beads by remote control in the groove part of the mockup again, a step of performing dimensional inspection after the weld beads are confirmed, and a step of automatically forming the weld beads directly in the groove part of the bottom head penetration part of the vessel to which two half inserts are fixed and which is to be repaired.
