    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced-concrete beam having a plurality of rectangular openings for passing ducts or the like, capable of achieving sufficient strength and weight reduction.SOLUTION: A PCa beam 1 includes an upper chord 11 and a lower chord 12 which are connected with first to fourth bundle parts 13 to 16, with first to fourth rectangular openings 21 to 24 passing through the bundle parts in a beam width direction. The ratio of length A1 of the first bundle part 13 to length B1 of the first opening 21 at an end side in an axial direction (A1/B1) is set to be larger than the ratio of length A4 of the fourth bundle part 16 to length B4 of the fourth opening part 24 at a center side in the axial direction (A4/B4) to satisfy (A1/B1)>(A4/B4). Consequently, the PCa beam 1 constitutes a Vierendeel structure in which each of the upper chord 11, the lower chord 12, and the bundle parts 13 to 16 functions as a structural element loaded with stress, achieving sufficient strength and weight reduction with high degree of freedom in the configuration of openings.
