    • PURPOSE:To make it possible that an electronic cash register exhibits an essential calculating function as well as a time management function, by providing keys for input of an individual code in the electronic cash register or connecting a reader for the individual code to the electronic cash register. CONSTITUTION:When a changeover switch 15 is switched from the cash processing function to the time recorder function and departmental keys 13 and individual code input keys 14 are operated, a departmental information signal and an individual code information signal are inputted from a keyboard 10 to an operation controlling part 30. A clock signal from a clock circuit 80 is inputted to the controlling part 30 also. The controlling part 30 executes the operation processing in accordance with these clock signal, departmental information signal, and individual code information signal and contents of storage parts 40 and 50 for operation to control a display keyboard 20 of a display part. On the display board 20, the time is displayed in a display part 21, and a time recorder indicator lamp 23 is lit. The operation result of the controlling part 30 is stored in a storage part 60 for totalization, and stored contents are printed out by a printer 70.

    • PURPOSE: To add timer recorder functions to a time register, by using in common the clocking circuit of a timer register and a journal printer for receipt printing even for the time recorder.
      CONSTITUTION: When an interruption signal is sent out to an interruption line INT2 by the insertion of a magnetic card, a card reader 8 is accessed and data for motor control is sent to the reader through a bus DB. A display part 17 displays time charge data in response to the operation of the time register and a timer display 9 provided to the card reader 8 displays the present time at intervals of one minute by prescribed interruption processing. A one-minute pulse oscillator 18 is connected to the 1st interruption line INT-1 and outputs a specific interruption signal at intervals of one minutes, and a CPU14 responds to it to execute a periodic interruption processing program, performing various data update operations.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a power supply circuit in size by directly applying the charging voltage of a capacitor of a wire-dot printer to a dot magnet, and by changing the energizing time according to the changing voltage for maintaining the attracting energy of each dot magnet constant. CONSTITUTION:Charging voltage V of a capacitor C which constitutes a smoothing circuit 5 is applied to dot magnets MG1-MGn. The energizing paths of the dot magnets MG1-MGn have transistors TR1-TRn each constituting a switch, and these transistors TR1-TRn perform on-off control by the output of a printer control circuit 6. When the energizing time is controlled in the control circuit 6 by the adding function of a counter, the conducting time of the transistors TR1-TRn, i.e., the energizing time of each of the magnets MG1-MGn increases stepwise. Accrodingly, the voltage applied to the magnets MG1-MGn also decreases stepwise; however, in response to this, as the energizing time increases, the attracting energy of each dot magnet is maintained constant.
