    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-resistant power window which detects water penetrating into a water-resistant power window device and immediately changes a state to a motion for a flooding condition when it detects water. SOLUTION: In this water-resistant power window provided with a first series circuit comprising a first switch 1 and a first relay 2, a second series circuit comprising a second switch 3 and a second relay 4, a control IC 12, and a wiring substrate, a motor 11 is driven to one way to close the window by impressing the first relay 2 when the contact of the first switch 1 is changed over, and the motor 11 is driven to the other way to open the window by impressing the second relay 4 when the contact of the second switch 3 is changed over. The power window is also provided with a submergence-detecting element comprising a semiconductor detection element 14 connected in between an onboard electric souce 13 and a detection terminal 8 of the control IC 12 and a plurality of submergence-detection conductor pairs 15 connected in parallel between the control end of the semiconductor detection element 14 and the earthing terminal and separately arranged at the periphery of the wiring substrate. When one of these submergence-detection elements detects an submergence, the semiconductor detection element 14 is switched on and an electric source voltage is output from the first terminal 1 and the second terminal 2 of the control IC 12.
