    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device reducing reduction of lubricant and suppressing shortening of useful life in a state of leveling a shaft of the disk drive device including a fluid dynamic pressure bearing. SOLUTION: A bearing unit of the disk drive device includes a capillary seal part formed by a sleeve recessed part 1b and a shaft recessed part 7a, and having a gap between the sleeve recessed part 1b and the shaft recessed part 7a formed so as to expand toward a side of a hub 6 of a sleeve 1. When a diameter of an outer circumference of an inclination starting end 7b of a base member side of the shaft recessed part 7a is D0, a diameter of an inner circumference of an inclination starting end 1e of a hub 6 side of the sleeve recessed part 1b is D1, a diameter of an opposing outer circumference 7c of the shaft recessed part facing the inner circumference of the inclination starting end 1e of the sleeve recessed part 1b in a radial direction is D2, and a diameter of the most recessed inner circumference 1c of the sleeve recessed part 1b is D3, D2 is smaller than D0, D3 is larger than D1, and a difference between D3 and D0 is larger than a difference between D0 and D2.
