SOLUTION: A bearing unit of the disk drive device includes a capillary seal part formed by a sleeve recessed part 1b and a shaft recessed part 7a, and having a gap between the sleeve recessed part 1b and the shaft recessed part 7a formed so as to expand toward a side of a hub 6 of a sleeve 1. When a diameter of an outer circumference of an inclination starting end 7b of a base member side of the shaft recessed part 7a is D0, a diameter of an inner circumference of an inclination starting end 1e of a hub 6 side of the sleeve recessed part 1b is D1, a diameter of an opposing outer circumference 7c of the shaft recessed part facing the inner circumference of the inclination starting end 1e of the sleeve recessed part 1b in a radial direction is D2, and a diameter of the most recessed inner circumference 1c of the sleeve recessed part 1b is D3, D2 is smaller than D0, D3 is larger than D1, and a difference between D3 and D0 is larger than a difference between D0 and D2.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration of a hard disk drive in regard to a disk drive device. SOLUTION: The hard disk drive 100 includes: an upper dynamic pressure plate 34 on an upper side of a magnetic recording disk 200; and a lower dynamic pressure plate 32 on a lower side of the magnetic recording disk 200. When the magnetic recording disk 200 rotates, a dynamic pressure is produced in an air between the upper dynamic pressure plate 34 and the magnetic recording disk 200. A dynamic pressure is also produced in the air between the lower dynamic pressure plate 32 and the magnetic recording disk 200. By the dynamic pressures, the magnetic recording disk 200 is supported in a thrust direction. A recording/reproducing head records data on the magnetic recording disk 200, and reads the data from the magnetic recording disk 200. The upper dynamic pressure plate 34 is disposed on the same side as the recording/reproducing head when viewed from the magnetic recording disk 200, in a manner to avoid a swing area of the recording/reproducing head.
