SOLUTION: A sliding plate 1 has flat upper surface and parts 1a, 1b to be fitted fixedly with a sheath 20 are provided, in the longitudinal, at the lower part on the side face thereof. The fixing parts 1a, 1b are enlarged and the flange parts 2a, 2b of the sheath 20 are fitted to the enlarged fixing parts 1a, 1b thus securing the sliding plate 1 to the sheath 20. Since the abutting faces of the sheath 20 and the sliding plate 1 are made flat, apparent residual thickness matches the real residual thickness when wear of the sliding plate 1 progresses and since the frictional margin of the sliding plate 1 can be equalized to the height of the flange parts 2a, 2b, replacing time of the sliding plate 1 can be made clear. Furthermore, stabilized current collecting action can be ensured because the contact area is increased and the contact resistance is decreased.

As the well- conductive metal powder, pure copper powder, copper alloy powder, copper- based mixed powder having not-too-high conductivity (such as copper-iron, copper-chromium, copper-tin and copper-nickel) or the like can be used.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a vibration and shock got by a brush as small as possible and improve the rectification performance of said brush by putting rubber or sponge for absorbing vibration between rigid plastics, forming them into a U-shaped body, and fitting said body to the head of a two-piece brush. CONSTITUTION:Rubber or sponge 2 for absorbing vibration is held like a sandwich between rigid plastics (synthetic resin) 1 so as to be formed into a U-shaped clip, and an opening in the lower part of said U-shape is made about 2mm narrower than that in the upper part thereof. Also, grooves are cut in a part contacting with the clip in the outside of a two-piece brush 3, so that said grooves become deeper as their position lowers, their depth is about 1mm in the lower place of said clip-contacting part and each groove is tapered in cross section. When said clip is fitted to the upper part of said two-piece brush 3, it is possible to fix the brush, to prevent a damage in the head of said brush and to absorb the vibration and shock thereof.
