    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission, which makes it possible to individually supply hydraulic pressure to, and release hydraulic pressure from, two hydraulic oil chambers and to reduce the number of solenoid valves, thereby permitting cost reduction and enabling the device to be made compact. SOLUTION: This hydraulic control device includes a first B-2 relay valve 24 changing over supply and discharge of hydraulic pressure to and from an inner oil chamber 45A, and a second B-2 relay valve 25 changing over supply and discharge of hydraulic pressure to and from an outer oil chamber 45B, is constructed to supply signal pressure P S2 of a solenoid valve S2 to an oil chamber 24a, an oil chamber 25a, and an oil chamber 25e, and changes over an input state of the signal pressure P S2 to the oil chamber 25e by a C-2 supply relay valve 23 to be changed over by signal pressure P S1 of a solenoid valve S1 for fail safe. It becomes possible to individually make a changeover of the first B-2 relay valve 24 by the solenoid valve S2 and a changeover of the second B-2 relay valve 25 by the solenoid valve S1. The solenoid valve is configured so that the lateral pressure reducing groove lets out oil to make the direction of resultant force of the lateral force acting on the sleeve the same when the output hydraulic pressure is output and when not output, and avoids a defect that the sleeve has wear or the like.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply working oil to a lubricating portion without cooling the working oil by an oil cooler even when the oil cooler and a cooler input check valve are damaged and when a temperature of the working oil is low.
      SOLUTION: When a hydraulic pressure of working oil supplied to an input port 1c of a cooler input check valve 1 becomes higher than a predetermined hydraulic pressure like when an oil cooler 2 and the like are damaged, a bypass valve 4 is operated to open, so as to supply the working oil at the input port 1c of the cooler input check valve 1 to a predetermined lubricating portion 5 via a bypass pipeline 16. Also, in a place where oil resistance of the working oil is large like in a cold district, the working oil is input to the other input port 1f of the bypass valve 4 via a solenoid valve 9, so that the bypass valve 4 is operated to open, to supply the working oil on the input port 1c side of the cooler input check valve 1 to a predetermined lubricating portion 5 via the bypass pipeline 16.
