    • PURPOSE:To lower the pressure resistance and to improve the heat exchanging efficiency of titled device with working medium, by heating a heat medium which has been heated through a solar energy collector to cause the same to enter into direct contact with the working medium of low boiling point to evaporate the latter for its return to the collector after decompression. CONSTITUTION:A heat medium a is heated up in a solar energy collector 1 and then fed to a direct contact type steam generator 2'. In the direct type steam generator 2', the heat medium a is caused to enter into direct contact with a working medium b having a boiling point lower than that of former to heat up and evaporate the former. The steam of this working medium b is supplied to an utility such as a turbine and the like by means of a pump 7. In this case, because the direct contact type steam generator 2' has an internal pressure equivalent to the evaporating pressure of working medium b, the pressure of heat medium a is lowered 8 through a return pipe while being increased by means of a pump 3. In this arrangement, the pressure resistance of titled device can be lowered, and thereby improving its heat exchanging efficiency with the working medium.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the setting space of a plant without deterioration in the collecting efficiency of the solar heat energy, by installing attendant devices such as heat accumulator in a space at the back, toward the solar rays, of a solar heat collector. CONSTITUTION:A solar heat collector 1 consists of a plurality of collectors 1a-1c which are disposed at given intervals so that incidence of the solar rays is prevented from interference with each other. Attendant devices, such as a heat exchanger 2, a heat accumulator 3, etc., are shaped and sized so that they can be mounted in a space at the back, toward the solar light, of solar collectors 1a-1c, and such attendant devices are installed behind the solar heat sollectors 1a-1c. This allows the installation of the attendant devices such as the heat exchanger, etc., to a part where there is the dead angle of incidence of the solar rays to collectors 1a-1c, resulting in the improvement of the utilizing efficiency of the space of a whole plant.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent breakdown of a system due to freezing of a heat transfer medium during stoppage of operation, by transferring the collected solar energy to the heat transfer medium to feed it to a power generating installation and utilities. CONSTITUTION:A first solar heat collector 5 collects the solar heat energy and transfer the energy to an anti-freezing primary heat transfer medium (a) such as heat transfer oil, an anti-freezing solution. The heat transfer medium (a) is fed through a line 6 to a steam generator 7 where the steam serving as a secondary heat transfer medium (b) is generated through heat exchange of the heat transfer medium with the secondary heat transfer medium (b). Further, in case the steam is supplied to a power generating system, the solar heat energy is converted into a mode in which the solar heat energy is easy to utilize, whereby the steam serving as the secondary medium (b) is supplied to a second collector 8 where the medium is increased in temperature and is supplied through a line 9 to the power generating system. This permits the prevention of the occurrence of breakdown while the system suspends operating during the night.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the setting density of a solar heat collector group and to enable effective utilization of a setting space, by locating a flat type or other type solar heat collector in a space between the collectors situated at given intervals. CONSTITUTION:A solar heat collector 1 consists of a plurality of light collecting type solar heat collectors 1a-1c, and flat type or other type, for example, each of vacuum tube type collectors 10a, 10b,..., which are capable of collecting scattering rays, is positioned in a space X between the solar heat collectors so that incidence of the solar rays to the collectors (1a-1c...) is prevented from interference with each other. This constitution, during movement of the sun between A-A, enables heat to be fully collected, and, for example, even if the collectors 1a-1c shade vacuum tube type, scattering light can be collected, resulting in increasing collection of the solar rays in any case.
