    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the fear of breakage of a wire even when a thin conductive wire is used for a signal cable to be connected to a substrate of a solid state image sensor by passing an electrically insulating yarn material in the axial direction in the signal cable, and fixing the distal end portion of the yarn material to the substrate. SOLUTION: A solid state image sensor 20 is fixed on a substrate 21 with an interval, and on the surface of the solid image sensor 20, a cover glass 24 is affixed, and at the same time, to both front and rear surfaces of the substrate 21, various kinds of electronic circuits 25 and 26 are attached. In addition, on the rear surface side of the substrate 21, an insulating core cable 33 and a coaxial core cable 34 of a signal cable 30 are connected by soldering or the like, and on the connected portion, an adhesive 29 is applied under a heaped up state. Then, the distal end portion of a cotton yarn 35 is bonded and fixed to the substrate 21 with the adhesive 29, and the insulating core cable 33 and the coaxial core cable 34 are incorporated in a manner to be slack even under a state wherein the cotton yarn 35 is tightly stretched.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp projection image at any time by clamping lug pieces which are divided into an upper and a lower part and projected at the head part of an ocular frame in engagement grooves formed in an attachment from above and below and coupling the device. CONSTITUTION:When the lug piece 18 of the ocular lens frame and the engagement groove 20 of the attachment are coupled with each other, a lug piece 18 is clamped in the engagement groove 20 from above and below to deform elastically and the lug piece 18 is pressed against the upper and lower walls of the engagement groove 20 with the elastic force based on the restoration of said deformation to couple with the engagement groove 20 without any play. Therefore, an ocular 9 moves to the same specific position at any time without any error after the attachment 14 is mounted wherever the ocular lens 9 is before the attachment 14 is mounted. Consequently, when the ocular lens moves to the specific position within a diopter adjustment range by the mounting of the attachment, an invariably sharp projection image is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent excessive tension from being applied to an operating wire even if a flexible tube for forming an inserting part of the endoscope is bent like a loop by providing an elastic member on the way of a coil or in the end part so as to be compressed by tension generated in the operating wire, when a close winding coal is bent and its overall length becomes long. CONSTITUTION:As for a coil spring 10, a spring constant is large and its stiffness is strong, and to the inside periphery of both end parts, the outside periphery of the divided end of a close winding coil 9 is fixed by silver brazing, etc. Accordingly, the coil spring 10 scarcely contracts by the degree that an operating wire 4 is drawn to an operating part 5 side in order to execute a regular curvature operation. When the close winding coil 9 is bent greatly due to a fact that an inserting part 1 becomes a loop state, etc., the close winding coil 9 stretches and tension applied to the operating wire 4 increases, and the coil spring 10 is compressed, subjected to elastic deformation and contracted. In this case, tension of the operating wire 4 and repulsion against compression of the coil spring 10 become a balanced state, and tension applied to the operating wire 4 becomes small remarkably, comparing with the case when the coil spring 10 does not exist.

    • PURPOSE:To execute a light and smooth curving operation even when an inserting part of an endoscope is looped by forming the inside surface of a close winding coil through which an operating wire is inserted to a flat and smooth surface. CONSTITUTION:In the tip of a flexible tube 1 for forming an inserting part of an endoscope, a freely bendable curved part 2 is provided, and to the tip part of the curved part 2, the tips of operating wires 4a, 4b are attached. Also, in close winding coils 9a, 9b inserted through in the flexible tube 1, the operating wires 4a, 4b are inserted through to move forward and backward freely. By drawing its operating wires 4a, 4b from the base end side, the curved part 2 is bent. In such a case, the inside peripheral surface of the close winding coils 9a, 9b is formed to a smooth surface. That is, a smooth operating sense being free from a rugged sense is obtained, and also, even when the inserting part of the endoscope is looped, a light and smooth curving operation can be executed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an optical fiber bundle with which fibers are hardly breakable even when repeatedly bent at a small radius of curvature and which has excellent durability is bundling the many optical fibers at both ends, releasing the respective fibers free to each other in the intermediate part, coating a gel- like fluid thereon and sealing the fibers into a flexible tube. CONSTITUTION:The fibers at both ends 1a of the optical fiber bundle are arrayed in the same sequence with each other and are joined within mouthpieces 2 made of a metallic pipe. The respective fibers are freely released from each other in the part except both ends 1a and the circumference thereof is covered by the flexible tube 3. Both ends of the flexible tube 3 are joined to the outside circumference of the mouth pieces 2 and are further tightened and fixed by yarn 4. The gel-like fluid is coated on the respective fibers near one end side of the optical fiber bundle and the optical fiber bundle is sealed into the flexible tube 3. The entanglement of the fibers with each other and the disturbance in the arrangement are thereby obviated in the part where the fluid is coated when the optical fiber bundle is bent at the small radius of curvature. The damage of the fibers is thus prevented and the optical fiber having the excellent durability is obtd.
