    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of clouding by a change with the lapse of time in the above structure having a plastic film and functional film to be joined to a glass plate by providing a film having a specific energy gap between the functional film and the plastic film. CONSTITUTION:This laminated glass structure is the sandwich glass structure formed by joining, for example, a glass plate 1 on the outer side of a vehicle and glass 2 on the inner side of the vehicle via a plastic intermediate film 3 and is constituted by forming the functional film 4 on the joint surface of the glass plate 1 and the plastic intermediate film 3. The functional film 4 is exemplified by films having the optical functions to selectively reflect, shut off and transmit light of a specific wavelength region and films having the functions of electrical heating and electromagnetic shielding, etc., for thawing, defrosting, antifogging, etc. The film 8 having >=4eV energy gap is laminated on the contact surface of the multilayered films formed by crimping the functional film 4 and the metallic film 6 consisting of silver, gold, etc., by dielectric films 5, 7 consisting of ZnO, SnO2, etc. with the intermediate film 3, by which the above-mentioned structure is constituted.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the safety and light-conditioning function of a light- conditioning glass, by using a pair of glass plates as light-conditioning glass substrates, making one or both of the glass plates with a laminated glass and equalizing the curvature of the contacting surface of the laminated glass to that of the opposite faces of the substrates. CONSTITUTION:Three or more glass plates are stacked one upon another and subjected to bending process at the same time. At least two glass plates consisting of the glass plate positioning at the top or bottom layer in the bending operation and the glass plate adjacent to the above plate are laminated to form laminated glass plates via the mutual contacting face in the bending operation (e.g. 1-7-2, 3-8-4, 7 and 8 are interlayers). The glass plate constituting the laminated glass is placed opposite to the contacting surface of another glass plate in bending operation (e.g. 2 and 3) to form a pair of substrates (e.g. 5 and 6). A light-conditioning layer (composed of a light-conditioning film 9, an electrolyte 10 and a sealing material 11) is inserted between the substrates 5 and 6.

    • PURPOSE:To improve defrost function by employing an electric heating glass applied with transparent conductive film on the inner face as the outside glass of a combination glass, i.e. a windshield glass, and operating only the electric heating glass after a defroster and the electric heating glass are operated and defrost is made. CONSTITUTION:In a system where a combination glass comprising inside and outside glasses 12, 13 and an intermediate film 11 is employed as windshield glass of an automobile, a transparent conductive film 10 is formed on the inner face of the outside glass plate 12 so that the windproof glass is constructed as an electric heating glass. Power supply to the transparent conductive film 10 and a defroster 3 is controlled by a frost detection control circuit 2 through switches SW3, SW2 respectively. When the frost detection control circuit 2 detects frost on the inner face of the windshield glass based on an output signal from a frost sensor 7, switches SW2, SW3 or only switch SW2 is turned ON to carry out defrosting, then only switch SW3 is turned ON to prevent frost.
