摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window glass holder for automobile which can retain window glass and attach it onto a carrier by means of one screwing process and can attain no concern of a plate being loosened. SOLUTION: The head part 3 of a bolt 2 whose shank part is passed through a loosely-fitting hole 4 in a window glass G and a mounting hole in a carrier C is fixed inside a plate 1 so as not to rotate. The first cushion material 5 inserted into the loosely fitting hole 4 in the window glass G is provided around the bolt 2. An engagement claw 6 at the top end of the first cushion material 5 is engaged, inside the loosely fitting hole 4, with an engagement 8 at the top end of the second cushion material 7 inserted in the loosely fitting hole 4 from the opposite side of the window glass G. It is thus possible to conduct this work only by passing the carrier C through the bolt 2 and tightening the nut 10.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping screw that can be efficiently and correctly driven into a prepared hole in a counter member with small driving torque.
SOLUTION: In this tapping screw 30, a cut 45 is formed to be positioned equally in a circumferential direction of a shaft part 33 on a thread 40 spirally formed around the shaft part 33 in a prescribed range in an axial direction from the tip of the shaft part 33, and a blade part 65 formed at a circumferential edge part of the cut 45 is positioned on the outermost side in a diametric direction of the thread 40. When the tapping screw 30 is driven into the prepared hole bored in the counter member, therefore, threads can be properly cut in a circumferential surface of the prepared hole by the blade part 65. Since the blade part 65 is formed in a prescribed range of 20°, contact area of the thread 40 to the prepared hole in the counter member can be small. Driving torque of the tapping screw 30 to the prepared hole can thus be small.

SOLUTION: A metal plate 1 having elasticity applies bending work from a cylindrical deflection part 2, both end parts of this plate are formed as clamping core parts 3, 4 opposed to each other. Synthetic resin-made clamping pieces 5, 6 clamping an end edge of a window glass are fixed to each clamping core part 3, 4 by insert molding. A space is provided in the vicinity of the deflection part 2 of the metal plate 1, a carrier mounting hole 12 is formed in one metal plate. A nut 14 screwing a tip end of a carrier mounting bolt 13 is fixed to the other plate 1 opposed to this mounting hole 12.
