    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a converter unit in common use for two frequencies with a local oscillation circuit 53 which can share two frequency bands inside a converter unit, and is low in manufacturing cost with superior operability. SOLUTION: This converter unit is provided with a local oscillator 40 which generates a local oscillation signal, a first frequency divider 41 which generates 2-frequency divided signal of the local oscillation signal, and a second frequency divider 42 which generates 4-frequency divided signal of the local oscillation signal. This converter unit in common use for two frequencies selectively converts the frequency of high-frequency signals of 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band and a base-band signal by frequency mixing. The frequency conversion of high-frequency signal of 2.4 GHz band and the base-band signal can be performed by frequency mixing using the 2-frequency divided signals of the local oscillation signal. The frequency conversion of high-frequency signal of 5 GHz band and the base-band signal can be performed by frequency mixing using the respective local oscillation signals and the 4-frequency-divided signal of the local oscillation signal.       SOLUTION: The inside of a casing 1 is provided with a contact element 10 composed of a spring member, contact segments 10a, 10b are formed in the contact element 10, wherein the contact segments 10a, 10b corresponding to the respective insertion ends 11a, 11b of antenna elements 2a, 2b stored in the casing 1 are elastically brought into contact with the contact element. Thus, in the antenna elements 2a, 2b stored in the casing 1, the antenna insertion ends (11a, 11b) are DC-connected via the contact element 10 to form a loop type antenna. In addition, if the antenna elements 2a, 2b are drawn from the casing 1 to be developed in the horizontal direction, they operate as dipole type antennas.
