As a result, a plate 34 is moved toward the first position from the second position against an energizing force of a spring 45, and the plate is partially formed on a slider 32 and advanced into an annular groove 321. And the plate 34 stops in the first position by the small diameter part of the slider main body part 322. Thereby, the relative movement between the slider 32 and the plate 34, namely, between an outer body 21 and inner bodies 24, 25, is prevented. Since the contact of the tip of a stem 14 with the plate 34 is avoided, partial abrasion on the tip of the stem 14 can be restrained, and the life of the stem 14 is improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a vehicle that facilitates the reduction of a device size and prevents an increase of power consumption.SOLUTION: The cooling device for a vehicle includes: a pump; a plurality of circulation paths that are connected to the pump and circulate a coolant between a vehicular cooling target and a heat exchanger; a solenoid valve 6 that can open and close at least one of the plurality of circulation paths; and a control part that controls the operation of the pump. The solenoid valve 6 is provided with: a valve body 10 movable to a position of separating from a valve seat 9 and a position in contact with the valve seat 9 and held in contact with the valve seat 9; and a solenoid 12 that maintains the contact between the valve body 10 and the valve seat 9 by electrical conduction. The valve body 10 is provided movably to the position of separating from the valve seat 9 by the fluid pressure of the coolant during the driving of the pump when the solenoid 12 is in a non-conductive state. The control part is configured to perform control in such a manner that, if it is determined that the circulation of the coolant in the circulation path in which the solenoid valve 6 is disposed is in a stoppable state, the pump is stopped and electrical conduction to the solenoid 12 is started.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively generate a circulating vortex current of a swirl, a tumble or the like with a simple and inexpensive structure by comprising a port for introducing the supercharged pressure by a supercharger to a combustion chamber of an engine, and another port for introducing the atmospheric air from a throttle valve by the intake negative pressure to the combustion chamber. SOLUTION: When an engine is started and a piston is in an intake stroke, a negative pressure is applied to a combustion chamber 2, and the air corresponding to the opening and closing amount of a throttle valve 5 is introduced into the combustion chamber 2 through one of ports 4 forming an intake port 12. Simultaneously the supercharged pressure is introduced into the combustion chamber 2 from a supercharger 1 through the other port 3. On this occasion, the pressure of the air introduced from the port 3 is higher than that of the air introduced from the port 4, and a large amount of the air is introduced from the port 3, so that the circulating vortex current of the air can be effectively generated in the combustion chamber 2 by this difference. Whereby the circulating vortex current can be obtained in the whole rotational frequency zone of the engine without curving the ports 3, 4 into the complex shape.

A filter 14 is housed in the second port 3. By this constitution, foreign matter such as oil, gasoline, carbon and the like hardly enter the flow rate control valve from the outside through the second port 3.
