摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve a higher response output of a photoelectric transducer by laminating an active layer comprising a dry solidified film of biopolymer composite having a photoelectric conversion function and a medium layer comprising a conductive polymer film between a pair of electrodes with at least one thereof transmitting light sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:First, a transparent electrode 3 is formed on a glass substrate 4. Then, a medium layer 7 comprising a conductive polymer film is formed on the electrode 3. In the formation of the conductive polymer film 7, a method of segregating the polymer film directly on the electrode from a monomer or the like is available by a electrolytic polymerization or catalytic polymerization method. Then, a photoelectric active layer 1 is formed on the conductive polymer film 7 formed. In the formation of the active layer, methods of brush coating, spin coating, printing and the like are available. After the formation of the active layer 1, the layer is dried by a method of natural drying, vacuum drying or the like to make a solidified film. Then, an upper counter electrode 2 is formed to complete an element. A lead 6 for deriving a signal is connected to both the electrodes by a silver paste 5 or the like thereby, a photoelectric response output can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the density of a functional conjugated protein, and to obtain sufficient orientation properties by forming photoelectric responding element structure, in which the functional conjugated protein solubilized and modified by polyethylene glycol is held between electrodes, applying an electric field having polarity between the electrodes and controlling orientation. CONSTITUTION:A reaction intermediate conjugated protein 3 solubilized and modified by polyethylene glycol is dried, and held between electrodes 2, 4, thus preparing photoelectric responding element structure. The quantity of the functional conjugated protein 3 per volume is increased by applying an electric field having polarity between the electrodes 2, 4, the complex is held between the electrodes, and the orientation of the functional conjugated protein 3 is controlled. Accordingly, the density of the functional conjugated protein 3 can be augmented the solubilizing the conjugated protein 3, and the orientation of protein molecules is controlled sufficiently by the interaction of the electric dipoles of protein molecules and the electric field by applying the electric field.

After the abidined glass substrate is treated as required with a biotin chromosphore film to be reacted, it is cleared of uncoupled chromatophore film with physiological saline water (PBS). A chromatophore film 8 is secured by such an operation. A lipid film containing protein can be immobilized with directionality by this securing method.

The general photosynthetic bacteria is exemplified by Rhodopseudomonas bilidis (ATCC19567), Rhodospirillum rubrum (ATCC11170) and Rhodobacteriaceae ferroidis (ATCC17023). Other than the photosynthetic bacteria, the photosynthetic granule can be obtained from cyanophycean chlorella, aquatic plants, terrestrial plants and the like.

A glass substrate solidified from the antibody is treated with the PBS containing chromatophore film. After reaction, it is cleaned with the PBS, and unbonded chromatophore film is removed. Further, it is treated with the PBS containing formaldehyde to secure the coupled chromatophore film 9. A lipid film containing protein can be secured with directionality by this securing method.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect the incident angle of light by holding a light absorptive dye in place between a front face electrode and rear face electrode, allowing light to be absorbed by the light absorptive dye and calculating the optical path length from the quantity of the light absorption. CONSTITUTION:This optical sensor is constituted by holding the light absorptive dye layer 3 which receives and transfers electrons at the boundary face with the electrodes by light absorption in place between the front face electrode 1 and the rear face electrode 2 which are transparent to incident light. The front face electrode 1 is a transparent conductive film consisting of an indium tin oxide, etc. The light absorptive dye layer 3 formed on a glass substrate 4 is a dry film formed by vacuum deposition, coating, etc., or is otherwise in a soln. state. The dye layer 3 is sealed between the two electrodes 1 and 2 by using a member 5 in common use as a spacer in the case of the soln. The film itself has thickness accuracy if the dye layer 3 is the dry film and, therefore, the film serves as a sealing member 5 for sealing. The outputs from the electrodes 1, 2 are introduced through taking out terminals 7, 8 to an arithmetic circuit 9. The incident angle of light is detected by calculating the optical path length in the circuit 9 in accordance with the quantity of the light absorption.
