    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a covering material, which can facilitate the positioning of a covering material positioned at an end and which can improve workability and an appearance, and a supporting implement for use in the construction method.
      SOLUTION: In this construction method for the covering material 14, the supporting implement 23 for supporting the end of the covering material 14 is fixed, for example, to an exterior wall surface 15 of a building, and a lower end of the covering material 14 is supported on the supporting implement 23. Subsequently, a backside superposed margin portion 16 of the adjacent covering material 14 is placed and stuck on the front-side superposed margin 17 of the covering material 14. The above operations are repeated in this order. Preferably, the supporting implement 23 is long enough to support the end of the whole covering material 14 for covering the exterior wall surface 15 etc. Additionally, the supporting implement 23 is formed in a recessed shape, and an outside bent piece of the supporting implement 23 is engaged with a recessed streak of a filler which is attached to a base plate-unsupported portion of the covering material 14.

A preferable mixing ratio of these is, based on 100 pts.mass of the acrylic resin, the hydroxy compound of 0.1 to 30 pts.mass and the epoxy compound of 1 to 50 pts.mass.

      SOLUTION: This surface-mounting material 14 is composed of a base board 11, an interposing sheet 12 stuck to its surface and a decorative material 13 suck to its surface. A surface side superposing margin part 17 overhanging from adjacent two edges of the decorative material 13 is formed on a surface on the adjacent two edge sides of the interposing sheet 12, and a reverse side superposing margin part 16 overhanging from adjacent two edges of the base board 11 is formed on a reverse surface of the other two edge sides of the interposing sheet 12. The reverse side superposing margin part 16 is placed and stuck on the surface side superposing margin part 17, and an outer wall surface of a building is covered by repetition. A base board unsupported part 27 based on the reverse side superposing margin part 16 of the end part of the surface-mounting material 14, is processed by fitting the end part processing material 23 having thermal insulation performance and waterproofness.
