摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector surely suppressing vertical and horizontal backlashes by few backlash suppressing parts. SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes a male connector with a cover hood 12, a female connector with an interfit hood 23 inserted between a connector housing and the hood 12 and backlash suppressing ribs 41 disposed on an inner peripheral wall of the hood 12 and an outer peripheral wall of the hood 23 to suppress the backlashes between the male and female connectors. The ribs 41 are formed by a first rib 43 disposed on the inner peripheral wall of the hood 12 and a second rib 45 disposed on the outer peripheral wall of the hood 23. The first rib 43 includes a first inclined surface 43a pressing the second rib 45 horizontally and vertically with the male and female connectors fitted. The second rib 45 includes a second inclined surface 45a brought into slide contact with the first inclined surface 43a to receive horizontally and vertically exerted forces.
