    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan rotor blade of a jet engine for an aircraft capable of further improving impact resistance, while reducing the entire weight.SOLUTION: A fan rotor blade 1 is provided with a blade body 10 produced from a composite material of resin and reinforced fiber and having a pressure surface 10a facing one side of the rotation direction and a suction surface 10b facing the other side of the rotation direction. This blade body is provided with a sheath 20 which has higher rigidity than the blade body and is affixed to the blade body while covering the vicinity of the front edge, which is located on the upstream side in the direction in which outside air is taken in, of the blade body. A leading end 21b of the sheath extends from a front edge side to a back edge side of the blade body, and an end of the leading end 21b is flush with the back edge of the blade body.

The sheath extends from a blade root side to a leading end side of the blade body along the longitudinal direction of the blade body, and a base end 21c, which is located on the blade root side of the blade body, of the sheath extends to the dovetail 11a.
