    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a dielectric ceramic composition which is microfine, has high crystallinity, and moreover can suppress the grain growth in a firing process. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a dielectric ceramic composition comprising a main-component powder fabrication process of fabricating a main-component powder containing barium titanate as a main component, the main-component powder fabrication process comprises a calcination step of calcining a mixture of a barium compound and a titanium compound, and an acid cleaning step of cleaning the calcined material obtained in the calcination step by an acid solution, wherein the main-component powder obtained after the acid cleaning is designed to satisfy the requirement of being a perovskite composite oxide represented by formula: ABO 3 , and having the ratio A/B as a molar ratio of a site A element and a site B element of 2 /g.
