    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramic sheet which is less apt to generate cracks and spalling, even when receiving large lamination loads and thermal stresses, by controlling the heights of burrs on the periphery of the ceramic sheet to a specific value or less, wherein the heights of the burrs are determined by irradiating the surface of the ceramic sheet with laser light by the use of a laser optical three-dimensional shape measurement device and then three-dimensionally analyzing the reflected light. SOLUTION: The burr heights on the periphery of the ceramic sheet are controlled so that the difference between the highest point and lowest point of the ceramic sheet in an area between the peripheral end and the 3 mm-inner place of the ceramic sheet is ±100 μm or less, preferably ±5 μm or less. The value is desirably reduced by lowering the heights of burrs generated on a punching process, reducing inner stresses generated at the punched site, and further equalizing the releasing speed of a thermal decomposition gas over the whole surface of the ceramic sheet on burning. The ceramic sheet has excellent lamination load resistance and excellent thermal stress resistance which are required for component elements such as a solid electrolytic membrane for a flat plate-like solid electrolyte type fuel battery, and can prevent the generation of cracks and spalling on operations.
