    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a molding such as a catalyst in which an end face is curved convexly with a high productivity. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a molding 16 comprises jetting a fluid pulse consisting of a mixture of a gas and a liquid intermittently from a slit 33 facing from the whole circumference of an extruded molding toward the shaft center while extruding the molding continuously from an extruding mouth provided on a die 12 of an extruder 11, and cutting the molding 16 for every a predetermined size. The molding 16 in which a discharge pressure of the fluid pulse is 0.1 MPa or below, and the width of the slit 33 jetting the fluid pulse is to become more than 1.5 mm, and which has the end face curved convexly is manufactured.
