    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time when an oscillation frequency of a high frequency clock is changed in color image forming. SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a front end synchronization detecting means for creating a synchronization detecting signal being a reference of a main scanning line; a back end synchronization detecting means for detecting a position of a back end of one line; a means for measuring an interval between the front end and back end synchronization detecting signals; a high frequency clock generating means common in each color for generating a high frequency clock according to a set value from a reference clock; a pixel clock generating means for dividing the high frequency clock and designating as a pixel clock one of a reference period, a period shorter than the reference period, and a period longer than the reference period; and a pixel clock control means for controlling a designation information for each pixel to the pixel clock generating means. The image forming device adjusts a high frequency clock frequency according to a result of measuring two point synchronization interval in each color, and corrects a main scanning magnification by controlling the number of pixels where a pixel clock being no reference period by the pixel clock control means is inserted, and its insertion interval.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm inability in character decoding or image degradation caused by thinning, before outputting by transferring and displaying thinned image data from facsimile equipment having a thinning function onto a personal computer(PC). SOLUTION: This facsimile equipment 100 is provided with a PC interface part 12 which enables bidirectional transmission/reception, while being connected through centronics or RS-232C to a PC 200. When image data are received while thinning is set to the facsimile equipment 100, the PC 200 displays the transferred thinned image data on a display screen and permits an operator select the validity/invalidity of thinning function. As a result, the facsimile equipment 100 activates the setting of validity/invalidity in thinning and outputs records. Further, the facsimile equipment 100 has plural thinning rates and can output the records at the thinning rate, selected by the operator on the PC 200 as well.
