    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device capable of providing appropriate combustion of a fuel gas by preventing a hunting phenomenon of gas type determination from occurring even when the fuel gas is changed over to tentatively mix a plurality of types of fuel gases.
      SOLUTION: This combustion device A is provided with: a gas combustor 1; a gas type determination part 50 for determining the type of a fuel gas supplied to the gas combustor 1; and a combustion condition setting part 51 for setting a combustion condition of the gas combustor 1 in a predetermined condition in response to the type of the fuel gas determined by the gas type determination part 50. The combustion device is structured such that, when the gas type determination part 50 senses the start of the type change of the fuel gas supplied to the gas combustor 1, thereafter it is brought into a determination suspension mode for suspending settlement of the type of the fuel gas for a predetermined set period, and a process for settling the type of the fuel gas is executed after the set time elapses.
