SOLUTION: Plate-like members 1, 2 are superposed and it is continuously irradiated with a laser beam R from a surface-outside direction while moving it to heat/melt an area to the inside of the plate-like member 1 at an opposite side of the plate-like member 2 irradiated with the laser beam R. The plate-like members 1, 2 are joined while controlling an output or a beam movement speed of the laser beam such that a bottom part of a melting pond P generated by it does not reach to an outer surface S1 of the plate-like member 1 at an opposite side. As the plate-like member 1 at the opposite side, the member in which polishing working is previously applied to the outer surface S1 in approximately parallel to a welding line direction by the laser beam R is used. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high accuracy of tracing a weld line in a YAG laser welder 1. SOLUTION: A laser machining head 8 and a tracing mechanism 11 are mounted onto the wrist 4 of a six-axis industrial robot 2. Further a detecting means 14 is loaded ahead of the laser machining head 8 in the welding direction 26. The detecting means 14 detects the position of the weld line 7 from the robot 2 simultaneously at two (2) different points along the welding direction 26. The detected points Ys1 and Ys2 are stored in a detected position memory 29 in turn. The teaching position Yrob of the robot 2 is stored in a teaching position memory 31, and interpolation operation is also performed. With the contents stored in these memories being read out, the presumed position Y^k and presumed positional error Y^rerr of a target line are computed, and an imitating action command value Yref is computed with the teaching position Yrob. An imitating action command value Yref is calculated so that the position of welding by the laser machining head 8 traces the welding line 7 to control the tracing mechanism 11. A value calculated at the current time is used as to the positional error of the robot. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a lens condensing optical system furnished on an output head for laser beam welding of a thin plate, to reduce the weight of the optical system, to simplify the structure and to realize the system at a low cost. SOLUTION: A YAG laser beam 16 emitted from a laser beam source is led to the lens condensing optical system 8 via an optical fiber 4, a thin stainless steel plate 5 is irradiated with the laser beam and a laser beam welding is performed. The lens condensing optical system 8 is composed of a front group lens 21 for collimator and a rear group lens for condensing 22, and each group of lens is composed of a single planoconvex lens. The longitudinal aberration Δs of the lens condensing optical system 8 is 5 to 15 mm, the condensing ratio is 0.75 to 1.25, the aperture number NA is selected to be 0.1 to 0.2. It is also possible that the optical fiber 4 is eliminated and the laser beam generated by the laser beam source 3 is directly guided to the lens condensing optical system 8.

摘要： A laser-welding head is capable of applying a fixed pressure to parts to be welded of workpieces regardless of the undulation of the surfaces of the parts to be welded. The laser-welding head includes a pressing device (12) having a roller (16) which rolls along parts of workpieces near a weld line (40) to press together the same parts of the workpieces, a pressing unit (6) for applying a predetermined pressure to the pressing device (12) to press the pressing device (12) toward the parts of the workpieces near the weld line (40), and a laser beam projecting unit(17) mounted on the pressing unit (6) for movement together with the pressing device (12). The pressing unit (6) is provided with a pneumatic cylinder actuator for applying the predetermined pressure to the pressing device (12).
