      SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device is provided with a glass substrate 11, a plurality of ICs 7, 8, 10 in the form of COG (Chip On Glass) for arranging them in rows on the glass substrate 11 along sides of the glass substrate 11, and the FPC 2 extended along the sides of the glass substrate 11 and connected with a plurality of ICs 7, 8, 10. The predetermined ICs 7, 8 among a plurality of ICs 7, 8, 10 are arranged to tilt the directions of extension of their long sides from the directions of extension of the sides of the glass substrate 11 and let the long sides face a central side of the FPC 2.

Each of the column drivers CD1 to CD8 is connected to either of the two clock output ports via clock lines CLK1 or CLK2 of L character-type wiring, and respective data output ports are connected to all of a plurality of drivers via data lines DA of T character-type wiring.
