    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a heating cooker which has a simple structure, in which moving or cleaning a water tank can be done readily, and in which the attachment/detachment of the water tank to/from the body can be conducted safely. SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes a water tank 20 to condense the steam by cooling water and a water tank accommodation part 4 which is provided at a lower case 2 with its front face side and both side faces open and in which the water tank 20 can be mounted detachably. The face of the lower case 2 which opposes the water tank 20 has a vertical wall 5 and fitting recessed parts 6a and 6b comprising faces parallel to the vertical wall 5. The face of the water tank 20 which opposes the lower case 2 has fitting protrusions 21a and 21b that fit with the fitting recessed parts 6a and 6b. The outer circumference of the bottom of the water tank accommodation part 4 has a surrounding wall-like engaging part 8, and the outer circumference of the bottom of the water tank 20 has a lower part engaging part 23 which is engaged with the engaging part 8. The water tank 20 forms both side walls of the front face side and a part of the front wall of a body 1 when it is mounted to the water tank 20 accommodation part of the lower case 2, and a chamfered part 22 is provided at the end part of the side wall face adjacent to the lower case 2.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of detecting a boiling over with less cost and space. SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker comprises an electrode arranged on the rear surface of a top plate in such a way that an air layer does not exist between the top plate, a capacitance measuring means for measuring a capacitance between the electrode and a predetermined potential, a control circuit for controlling a driving circuit in accordance with a measurement result by the capacitance measuring means, and an operation section in a capacitance type to determine whether or not an operation command is done in accordance with the variation of capacitance. The electrode is being pressed to the rear surface of the top plate by a spring structure, and also serves as a capacitance measuring means, as a part of capacitance measuring circuit of the operation unit or as a substrate.
