    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in combustion caused by fuel addition while ensuring accuracy of fuel addition when providing an exhaust gas recirculation device for recirculating exhaust gas from downstream of a fuel adding valve arranged in an exhaust emission passage. SOLUTION: A diesel particulate filter and a NOx occlusion reducing catalyst are arranged on the exhaust emission passage, and the fuel adding valve is arranged upstream of an exhaust emission control device. The fuel adding valve adds fuel into the exhaust emission passage for regenerating a catalyst. The exhaust emission control system is provided with a high-pressure loop exhaust gas recirculation device for recirculating the exhaust gas from upstream of the exhaust emission control device to an intake side and a low-pressure loop exhaust gas recirculation device for recirculating the exhaust gas from downstream of the exhaust emission control device to the intake side. When fuel is added for regenerating the catalyst, an addition control means determines for every control intervals, the unit amount added which is the amount of fuel added in one fuel addition. The addition control means adds the minimum amount of fuel injected when the unit amount added is smaller than the minimum amount of injected by the fuel adding means, and also subtracts the excess amount of fuel when the minimum amount of fuel injected is added, from the amount of fuel added in the subsequent fuel addition.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control the amount of EGR when there arises aged deterioration, in an internal combustion engine having a swirl control valve. SOLUTION: This control device for the internal combustion engine is appropriately used for controlling the internal combustion engine having the swirl control valve (SCV) on an intake passage. Specifically, a differential pressure detection means detects differential pressure between pressure upstream of a portion provided with the SCV and pressure downstream of the portion provided with the SCV. An EGR amount control means controls the amount of EGR circulating in an intake system based on a secular change in the differential pressure. That is, the amount of EGR is feedback-controlled based on a secular change in the differential pressure.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of properly controlling a fuel injection quantity by taking into consideration a variation in the temperature or pressure of each cylinder. SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine is applied to the internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders, and an estimating means estimates the temperature of each cylinder based on the pulsation of the temperature in a collecting part of exhaust gas, and a storage means predetermines and stores the temperature of each cylinder as a map value. A control means increases a post-injection quantity to the cylinder higher in the estimated temperature than the temperature stored as the map value, when an absolute value of a difference between the estimated temperature and the temperature stored as the map value is a predetermined value or higher, and reduces the post-injection quantity or stops post-injection to the cylinder lower in the estimated temperature than the temperature stored as the map value.
