摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the fitting of light transmitting members, reduce the manufacturing cost, improve durability, and increase the detection accuracy of the toner remainder by dichromatically molding the of light transmitting sections and flange sections of light transmitting members to be fitted to alight transmitting window. CONSTITUTION:Light transmitting members 23a, 23b are integrally provided with flange sections 23a2, 23b2 of a polystyrol device made of the same material as that of a toner storage container 10a via dichromatic molding around light transmitting sections 23a1, 23b1 made of polycarbonate. The flanges 23a2, 23b2 are welded to a light transmitting window 10a6 to fit the light transmitting members 23a, 23b to the toner storage container 10a. The light transmitting sections 23a1, 23b1 made of a different material can be easily fitted to the toner storage container 10a at a low cost, interfaces 23a3, 23b3 are closely stuck with no gap via insert molding, and a toner is prevented from being leaked between the light transmitting sections 23a1, 23b1 and the flange sections 23a2, 23b2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy opening of a lid body even when a pressure welding sheet is tightly adhered to original platen glass. SOLUTION: An image reader 200 is provided with original platen glass 9 surrounded by a frame body 105, reading part for reading an original placed on the original platen glass, lid body provided through a hinge onto the frame body so as to open/close the original platen glass, and press-contact sheet 201 provided at the section of the lid body in oppose to the original platen glass so as to press the original in contact with the original platen glass when the lid body is closed. Further, this device is provided with a protruding part 201a protruded outward rather than an edge 9a of the original platen glass at an opening/closing end part 201a of the press-contact sheet 201 and an interval part S to the outside between the edge 9d of the original platen glass facing the protruding part and an edge part 105a of the frame body. External air is permeated from the interval part and the press-contact sheet 201 is easily peeled from the protruding part 201a.
