      SOLUTION: Each linear section 12 inclines toward a direction where one end side goes inwardly in a diametric direction along the diametric direction and each continuation section 13a at the one end side is bent, thus setting the diameter of a circumscribing circle at one edge in an axial direction of the flat type wire W to be smaller than an inner diameter of the stator core 2. An insertion tool 16 into which the flat type wire W is inserted is inserted into the stator core 2 from an axial direction. The insertion tool 16 is moved to one side in an axial direction, thus pressing each linear section 12 outwardly in a diameter direction by each protrusion 21 to change the inclination of each linear section 12, and stretching a bend of each continuation section 13a at one end side. Then, each linear section 12 is disposed in a slot 5.
