    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a plated article, to mass-produce the plated article, and to obtain a plated film having such properties as to have no pin hole, high hardness and high abrasion resistance, be uniformly electrodeposited on an article to be treated, and have high corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: A plating method includes plating the article to be treated 2 while circulating a surface treatment fluid in a circuit 8 having a reaction tank 1 inserted therein which accommodates the article. The surface treatment fluid is a fluid in an emulsion state, which contains at least an electrolyte 35, a surface active agent 40, and carbon dioxide 27 in a supercritical or subcritical state. The plating method also includes circulating the surface treatment fluid in the circuit 8 at a flow rate of 30 cm/sec or higher, and making the surface treatment fluid cause an electrochemical reaction on the article to be treated 2 to thereby plate the article to be treated.     • PURPOSE:To enable ruins to be preserved for a long period without being affected by moisture or the like even in an ordinary temperature condition, and provide a preserving method for obtaining such ruins. CONSTITUTION:The method is comprised of a process of immersing an excavated wood piece 1 (cultural ruins) into a water reducible solvent 3 in the vessel 2 and then substituting the impregnated water of the wood piece 1 by water solvent 3, a process of immersing the wood piece 1 into a mixed solvent 7 of higher alcohol and PEG in the constant temperature vessel 6 and substituting the impregnated water reducible solvent of the wood piece 1 with the mixed solvent 7, and a process of hardening the mixed solvent-impregnated wood piece 1. In this manner, the wood piece 1 can be preserved semi-permanently in a prior state of excavation by a short time treatment.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten a treating time, and to preserve the state before unearthing for a long term (in a semipermanent manner) by a method wherein cultural remain unearthed from ruins, etc., is dipped in a solvent such as alcohol for a fixed time, the impregnating water of cultural inheritance is replaced with a solvent, and a silicone rubber liquid is permeated under a low vacuum to cultural inheritance and cured. CONSTITUTION:An unearthed wooden pole piece (remains) 3 is immersed in a solvent 3 such as alcohol, acetone or the like in a vessel 2, the wooden pole piece 1, impregnating moisture in texture of which is replaced with the solvent 3, is dipped in a methylene chloride liquid 5 in a vessel 4, and the solvent 3 in the wooden pole piece 1 and the methylene chloride liquid 5 are replaced. The wooden pole piece 1, the inside of texture of which is filled with the methylene chloride liquid 5, is introduced into the mixed liquid 7 of the methylene chloride liquid and a silicone rubber liquid, and lastly admitted in a silicone rubber 9 in a vessel 8, the vessel 9 is placed in a thermostatic chamber 10 under the state of a low vacuum, and the piece 1 is extracted and the silicone rubber is cured under normal pressure. Accordingly, the piece is treated in a short time, and the form of the piece can be held in a semipermanent manner under the state before unearthing.
