    • PURPOSE:To easily insert and fasten a rivet by arranging the device so as to make a rivet fastening direction the lateral direction and installing a mounting stand to mount a brake shoe and a liner as members to be fastened at a rivet fastening position. CONSTITUTION:A rivet with a flange is fastened in order to fix a liner L onto the surface of a brake shoe S. In a rivet fastening device 1 which fastens the rivet, a rivet fastening machine 3 is arranged so that its fastening direction is made in the lateral direction, and an elevating stand 4 as a mounting stand which mounts the brake shoe S and the liner L as members to be fastened is arranged in freely vertically adjustable. These brake shoe S and liner L are arranged at the rivet fastening position, and the rivet is inserted into a spot facing hole of the liner from the lateral side to be fastened. Therefore, the rivet is required to be inserted from a horizontal direction, so that it can be surely set without being inserted obliquely. After then, the rivet is fastened and the defective fastening of a rivet is avoided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partitioning block capable of achieving various performances such as reduction in weight, stability based on shape, formability, formation of fitting structure capable of developing high water leakage prevention capability, and increase in efficiency of connecting operation, and also provide a connecting body formed by fitting the partitioning block. SOLUTION: This partitioning block 1 comprises a narrow vertical wall part 2 and a wide base wall part 3 formed integrally along with the vertical wall part 2, a through-hole 4 is provided ranging from the upper surface of the vertical wall part 2 to the bottom surface of the base wall part 3, and a recessed line part 6 and a projected line part 7 are provided on the opposed side faces of the vertical wall part 2 through the entire vertical length (overall height). The recessed line part 6 is formed of a narrow inlet part 6a and a wide depth part 6b. When the recessed line part and projected line part 7 are fitted to each other, the opposed surfaces G and H of the recessed line part 6 and projected line part 7 are separated from each other through the entire area in lateral direction so as to form a space J. Mud is filled in the space J so as to maintain a high degree of sealability.
