    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a process where not only a macro gap but also a micro gap is processed and to enable a ring core to be easily manufactured at a low cost, by a method wherein a first material layer is formed of magnetically permeable and electrically conductive material, and a second material layer is formed of non-magnetic and non-conductive material. SOLUTION: A ring core is formed of two material layers which are rolled up together as overlapping with each other. At this point, a first layer is formed of material which is magnetically and electrically conductive (permeability and electrical conductivity), and a second layer is formed of material which is non-magnetic and non-conductive. A laminating magnetic steel plate or a thin plate (dynamo thin plate) of soft magnetic material is used as the first laminate layer, and the second layer is formed of paper or film (thin layer material). The magnetization characteristics curve of the ring core can be controlled as prescribed by regulating the second layer of non-conductive material in thickness. The second material layer is formed of paper or film about 0.01 to about 0.05 mm in thickness, and the first material layer is about 0.2 to about 0.7 mm in thickness.

SOLUTION: In general, a stator is provided with a supporting structure having a plurality of supporting arms. This type of wind power generation is known, and a lot of units are already in use. The development of wind turbine tends to be directed toward much higher power generation outputs. This trend entails frequently increase in dimensions of individual parts, in particular, their supporting arms, and their masses by extension. Hence, a wind turbine features reduced weights of parts, and their reduced noises. To achieve this purpose, an annular generator is equipped with a stator and a rotor, the stator having a supporting structure for supporting a stator ring and a stator curvature.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a ring-shaped power generator in order to especially strengthen cooling of the power generator and/or make it more efficient, or to propose an alternative ring-shaped power generator.SOLUTION: A ring-shaped power generator includes: a stator having a stator ring extended in the circumference for accepting a lamination type core having a stator coil; and a rotor attached to the stator in a rotatable manner. The power generator has a configuration with an inner rotor and further includes a stator bell connected to the stator ring in order to form a pressure chamber in which pressure is increased or decreased, in relation with formation of an active air stream through the stator and/or the rotor, and/or along the stator and/or the rotor for cooling the power generator. The stator bell is configured to support the stator ring. Therefore, the stator is supported by the stator bell and the stator bell is fixed to a machine support part of a wind turbine generator system.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine and a hydroelectric power installation having the turbine which is of a simplified structure and affords greater power output.
      SOLUTION: This turbine for the hydroelectric power installation generates electrical energy. The turbine includes: a rotor (4); a plurality of turbine blades (1); and a guide mechanism (6) which is disposed behind the rotor in a cross flow direction and which has a plurality of blades (5) functioning as a turbine support mechanism and inclined with respect to the cross flow direction. The pitch angle of each turbine blade (1) of the rotor (4) is adapted to be variable. The turbine is formed into an upstream rotor turbine so that the turbine blades (1) obtain an incoming flow not substantially disturbed in the cross flow direction by the turbine.
