    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact apparatus for inspecting a printed circuit board which can facilitate mounting and dismounting of the printed circuit board and can prevent possible injury to operator' fingers with an inspecting electrode or the like.
      SOLUTION: In such a condition that the printed circuit board 45 is clamped from its both sides by first and second clampers 46, 47; a clamper actuating mechanism 51 nearly linearly retracts at least one of the first and second clampers 46, 47 in a direction nearly perpendicular to the board 45 and going away from the other clamper, and then rotates at least one of the first and second clampers 46, 47 to be retracted away from the other clamper, whereby the mechanism retracts at least one of the first and second clampers 46, 47 from a clamp position to a retraction position. The apparatus can relatively easily mount or dismount the board 45 on or from one clamper 46 without being hindered by the other clamper 47 while eliminating the need for retracting the first or second clamper 46 or 47 very largely.

    • PURPOSE: To elevate the working efficiency by automatically fixing a substrate to start inspection work as soon as a detection switch detects that the printed circuit board is inserted into a positioning pin exactly.
      CONSTITUTION: An opening 4 is provide on the top board 3 of a case 1 and a slide plate 5 is arranged near the lateral and longitudinal rims thereof. A pair of slots 12 are provided on the width-wise rim of the slide plate 5 and a vertically movable keep plate 15 is fitted loosely thereinto 12 so that the slide plate 5 is retained at a specified position against a tensile force of a pull spring 11. A printed circuit board 54 is placed on the top board 3 covering the opening 4 and as a pin plate 19 is moved to an upper position, the tip of a check pin 33 is pressed on the substrate 54 by the elasticity of a compression spring 37. Where four positioning pins 40 are at a specified upper position, respective microswitches 52 are opened while they are closed where the pins are at a lower position. This enables automatic detection and holding of the pins at the specified positions.
