    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up processing in a signal conversion circuit, such as a discrete Fourier transformation circuit, by devising encoding and processing methods to eliminate the need for multiplications to be performed, for which purposes a conversion circuit is used which converts the sample value of an observed waveform into a phasor, decomposes it into amplitude and phase, and further encodes them before being processed; whereby, because the result is obtained as unit phasor components which are directly utilizable, processing can further be speeded up.SOLUTION: To represent a phasor signal decomposed into unit phasor components, an amplitude signal line bundle comprising multiple signal lines to which the components to be represented are assigned, is used. A product of a phasor signal and a unit phasor constant is worked out by cyclically shifting an output side of the amplitude signal line bundle to the input side. Further, in adding the product to other product, an adder with a zero vector erasure function, which is provided one for each corresponding amplitude signal line bundle, is used. Thus, as described above, it is possible to realize a phasor signal conversion circuit which does not use a multiplication circuit.

Furthermore, an output matrix also becomes a complex number, in general, other than a diagonal element. By paying attention to the fact that a diagonal element that becomes a selection output is a real number, a real-number part of a non-diagonal element is made into non-selection output, thereby selection ratio is improved.
