摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular net cylinder for paper-making capable of easily expanding or contracting the diameter of the circular net cylinder by only sliding the rotating shaft in a length direction so as to be able to exchange a paper-making net having various patterns and marks easily and rapidly while using a common circular net cylinder. SOLUTION: This circular net cylinder having a rotating shaft 2, a cylinder part 3 rotating with the rotating shaft 2, supported with the rotating shaft 2 and mounted with a net 4 for paper-making at outer circumference thereof, is obtained by constituting the cylinder part 3 with many non-continuous ring bodies 5, also arranging sliding rods 6 for supporting each of the ring bodies 5 between each of the ring bodies and the rotating shaft 2, making the rotating shaft 2 movable in a lengthwise direction by forming a taper 23 at the rotating shaft 2 in the lengthwise direction enabling that the diameter of the cylinder part 3 expands or contracts through a sliding rods 6 according to the movement of the rotating shaft 2 and that the paper-making is performed on expansion thereof and the paper-making net 4 is exchangeable on contraction thereof.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a screen cylinder which is applied to a paper-making machine for giving a variety of patterns to the paper produced. CONSTITUTION: In a screen cylinder 31 for paper-making, being equipped with a rotation shaft 2 and a cylinder 3 which rotates together with the shaft, as it is supported thereby, and is equipped with a paper-making screen on its outer periphery, the cylinder is constituted with a plurality of discontinuous rings 5 and sliding bars 6 supporting each ring are arranged between each ring and the rotation shaft. Further, the rotation shaft 2 is tapered in the longitudinal direction and made reciprocative so that the diameter of the cylinder 3 is expanded or shrunk through the slide bar 6 corresponding to the reciprocation of the rotation shaft 2 where paper is made when the cylinder is expanded, while a screen 4 is exchanged when it is shrunk. Since the diameter of the screen cylinder is simply expanded or shrunk only by sliding the rotation shaft 2 in the longitudinal direction, the paper-making screen 4 can be readily exchanged with other screens having a variety of patterns or marks whereby the production costs are largely reduced and the small lot production becomes possible.
