摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a fender and the miss operation of a handle by fixing a metal plate formed on the left and right lower sides of a bumper to a frame with a buffer plate and auxiliary levers and applying a buffer action to the up-and-down movement of a car body. CONSTITUTION:The flat plane section (b) of a buffer plate 2 is adjustably overlapped on one side of the flat plate section (a) of a metal plate, then the buffer plate 2 is risen upward to form a bent section (c), and multiple fitting grooves are provided on the plate to fit it to a frame. Auxiliary levers 3, 3' are adjustably fitted to the flat plate section (b) at one end and are pinched at the other end with two belt-like plates 5, 5' from above and below to form an expanded section, then an upper section is fixed to the auxiliary lever 3'. When a bumper is grounded on a rugged terrain, the flat plate section (b) of the metal plate 1 is brought into contact with the ground, thereby the elastic force is increased due to the synergetic effect of action and reaction between the bent section of the buffer plate 2 and the expanded section of the auxiliary levers 5, 5' to each other and the recovery force can be jointly retained by them.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of a fender, by attaching S-letter-like metal plates in side positions below the left and right sides of the bumper, and as well by giving repulsiveness to the metal plate so that an obstacle is completely run over without hindrance affecting the travelling of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate 1 has its front section (a) arcuately curved upward so that an S-letter-like cross-sectioned shape or a curved shape which gives troughness against impact to the entire metal plate. A reinforcing rod 2 is pivotally attached to the metal plate 1 at its lower end (b) so that the rod 2 is rotatable, and is also attached to a vehicle frame at its upper end through a fixture (c). An attaching fixture 3 which is attached to the side of the metal plate 1, is connected to the vehicle frame. The metal plate 1 is attached to each of lateral positions which are below the left and right sides of a bumper in the front of a vehicle body with a space of about 3-5cm being defined between the arcuate part (a) of the metal plate 1 and the vehicle body, by means of the reinforcing rod 2 and the attaching fixture 3 which are attached and secured to the vehicle frame.
