SOLUTION: A plurality of metal plates 13a for forming a slot 19a where a slot depth in radius direction is shallow and a plurality of metal plates 13b for forming a slot 19b where a slot depth is deep are laminated. In this case, a core part 20 with large starting torque characteristics since the sectional area of a slot 19 is small and a core part 21 with a small starting torque and a high efficiency on operation since the sectional area of the slot 19 is large are mixed. As a result, by properly distributing the length in each axial line direction of the core parts 20 and 21, the characteristics of a motor can be adjusted to desired starting torque and efficiency, thus reducing the number of molds required for manufacture and simplifying facilities and hence reducing manufacturing man-hour.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count the total number of persons exiting from a facility with ease when fare adjustments of admission tickets are made, by summing up the number of persons after fare adjustments which are counted by a fare adjusting machine and the number of exiting persons which are counted at an exit gate. SOLUTION: This system consists of a ticket vending machine 12, which vends admission tickets, an entrance gate 14, a fare adjusting machine 15, and an exit gate 18, and those devices are controlled by a controller 20 consisting of a personal computer. This system allow a person, who does have his or her fare adjusted to pass through the exit gate 18 with the admission ticket. In this case, the number of persons, from which admission tickets are collected is counted by the exit gate 18. When a fare is adjusted by the fare adjusting machine 16, the number of people having adjusted fares is counted by the fare adjusting machine 16. Then, a controller 20 totalizes the number of people having adjusted fares counted by the fare adjusting machine 16 and the number of exiting people counted by the exit gate 18 to find the total number of facility users having exited.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rusts inside an automatic vending machine by providing a rain gutter on the inner surface of a door at the lower part of a hinge part formed on the upper surface of the door and draining rainwater, which is infiltrated inside the door, from a drain projected from the side face of the upper part of the door to the outside of the machine. SOLUTION: When rain falls, rainwater is stored in a ceiling panel on the main body of a cabinet 2 for an automatic vending machine 1, and this rainwater flows from a hinge attaching hole 15 provided on the ceiling plate into the inside and further flows through a hinge attaching hole 14 provided on the upper surface of a door 3 into the door 3. Then, a rain gutter 6 is arranged inside the door 3 by welding or the like, a drain hole 11 of this rain gutter 6 is projected on the upper side face of the door 3, and rainwater flowed into the door 3 is drained through the rain gutter 6 from the drain hole 11 to the outside on the side face of the door 3. Thus, since the moisture inside the door 3 is remarkably reduced, rusts are prevented and adverse influences caused by moisture upon commodity or electric components are eliminated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss at the time of accelerating or application of excess load, by deciding a time for duplicating to conduct a stator coil in response to a rotating speed command, and driving to switch a brushless motor in response to the duplicating time, thereby preventing its vibration. SOLUTION: An overlapped conducting time setting circuit 30 for setting a starting time and steady-state operating time TL of a brushless motor 1 in response to a rotating speed command S+ is provided. At the time of accelerating the motor 1, a three-phase distributing and signal processor circuit 12 reduces a value of a conducting duplicating time in response to a value of the acceleration. Then, a time of conducting a stator coil of the motor 1 through a transistor switching element at the time of accelerating is shortened, and power loss in the switching element is reduced. Even when an excess load is applied to the motor 1, an overcurrent detector 40 detects an overcurrent to similarly operate to suppress the power loss.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crossover from sagging after a stator is bent by forming the groove of an insulating material for accommodating the crossover of a coil winding on the end face of the stator so that the crossover of the coil winding passes nearby on a support for bending the stator. SOLUTION: An insulating material 7 for insulating a coil winding 6 from a stator core 1 is extended also to the outer-periphery part of the end face of the stator core 1 for forming and a plurality of outer-periphery grooves 8 being opened toward the periphery direction of a stator 5 are formed to provide a crossover 6a of the coil winding 6. Also, a vertical groove 7a for leading the terminals of each coil winding 6 to the outer-periphery grooves 8 is provided at the insulating material 7 near each teeth 3. Then, a coil winding machine 9 is used for winding the coil winding 6 onto the teeth 3 and forming the stator 5. In this case, the outer-periphery grooves 8 are formed to the shape and dimensions where the crossover 6a of all coil windings 6 can pass on the support of bend for forming the insulating material 7, thus preventing the crossover 6a from sagging after the band-shaped stator 5 is bent for forming a cylindrical shape.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce an air flow generated by rotational driving of a holding table into a chamber so as to control a turbulent air current, by providing the chamber in which an air flow generated by rotational driving of the holding table is introduced on the periphery of a cup body, and connecting with the chamber an ejection port body for the air to be introduced into the chamber. SOLUTION: In a spin processing device 20, a motor 21 as a driving source is mounted at a mounting portion, and a driving shaft 22 extending upward is connected to the motor 21. A holding table 23 is mounted at the upper end of the driving shaft 22, and this holding table 23 rotates at a high speed as the motor 21 operates. On the holding table 23, a rectangular substrate 24 used for a liquid crystal display cleaned at a cleaning step as a preparatory step is held. Therefore, as the holding table 23 rotates at a high speed, a cleaning solution attached to the substrate 24 is removed by a centrifugal force. By providing a rectifying member 38 inside a cup body 32, the ejection efficiency inside the cup body 32 is improved and generation of a turbulent air inside the cup body 32 is prevented.
