    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a forming inhibitory material by using shredder dust as an alternative of plastics.SOLUTION: In a separation process 301 based on size, for example, shreds with a particle size of about 12 mm or more are separated from shredder dust (301: large). Shreds with a particle size of less than about 12 mm (301: small) are stored as raw materials of the shredder dust (304). In a separation process 302 based on weight, lightweight shreds with small weight are separated from the shreds with a particle size of about 12 mm or more separated in the separation process 301 based on size (302: light). Iron and nonmetal are recovered from heavyweight shreds which are not separated in the separation process 302 based on weight (302: heavy). In a pulverization process 303, the lightweight shreds separated in the separation process 302 based on weight are pulverized into, for example, shreds smaller than about 10 mm, and the pulverized lightweight shreds are stored as raw materials of the shredder dust (304).     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for agglomerating roll grinding dust by which the roll grinding dust can be stably agglomerated without using a binder while obviating the need for cumbersome steps and high equipment cost. SOLUTION: Metal machining chips previously cut to a length of 30 to 80 mm are mixed, in a proportion of ≥10%, preferably ≥40%, with the roll grinding dust generated in grinding a metal forming roll, such as a hot roll and a cold roll, and compressive force of ≥10 MPa is applied to the resultant mixture to compact it. As the metal machining chips, machining chips of, e.g., a cast billet can be used and the degree of curling represented by [(actual length)-(maximum major axis)]/(actual length) is made to ≤0.4. Since water adhering to the roll grinding dust is dehydrated in the course of the pressing step, the need for a prior dehydration step can be obviated. Cement is added to the reformed coal ash and granulated, fixed phase reaction occurs, part of the sodium in the sodium-substituted artificial zeolite is substituted by calcium, and granules having the nature of the sodium-substituted artificial zeolite and calcium-substituted artificial zeolite are obtained. Since the granules are the sodium-calcium combined type and concurrently have the adsorbing characteristics of them, they can cope with malodors of various kinds, and the grain size is set to 1.5-5.0mm.
