摘要： PURPOSE:To stabilize the fixture of a side seaming part by forming a recessed place in the specified depth on the outer peripheral face of a pressure fitting roll and forming press-fitting part and non-pressure part alternately in the length direction of the side seaming part. CONSTITUTION:Cores 4, 5 are provided on the rod 7 projected on a supporting body and a pressure fitting roll 8 is arranged freely turnably inside the core 5. On the pressure fitting roll 8 guide plates 8a, 8b regulating the shape in the width and thickness directions of the side seaming part H are provided and the recessed places 9, 9 deeper than the height of the part H are formed at equal intervals on the peripheral face thereof. When the roll 8 is rotated after completion of the transfer of a pipe main body P, a non-pressure part J by a pressure fitting part I and the recessed place 9 is alternately formed on the part H. Due to the slippage in the pipe longitudinal direction being thus prevented surely the joined fixture of the side seaming part is stabilized despite of the plate thickness of a metal plate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To surely press fit an end connection part irrespective of the thickness of a plate and to perform calking without causing rolling at the end connection part by providing numerous projection parts for pressure welding with their projection at intervals in the peripheral direction on the outer peripheral face of a pressfitting roll and press-welding this projection part of the end connection junction part. CONSTITUTION:A press-fitting roll 9 is formed in a roll shape having the peripheral face slightly narrower than the width of a end connection junction part H and four pieces of pressure welding piece 9 are provided with projection at intervals in the peripheral direction on the center in the width direction of the peripheral face. When a pipe main body P reaches the press-fitting part, the junction part H receives the pressure of the upper part forming roll 10 and is pressed to the pressure welding piece 9 with moving to the front part. Since the pressure welding piece 9 is supported freely rotatably on a core 5, the junction part H is subjected to calking by the pressure welding piece 9 and the press-fitting dent 11 is in the direction parallel to the transfer direction is formed. The pressure welding piece 9 is simply in linear contact with the junction part H, so the part H is not rolled and a practically stable calking can be performed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure the fixture of a side seaming part by forming the uneven ness of a small pitch on a side seaming contact face, mating a bending part thereto, then, executing calking by a pressure fitting roll. CONSTITUTION:A pressure welding race 3 is formed by a knurled roller, etc., on both faces at both side ends of the metal plate 1 formed in a square pipe. In this case, the crest part 3a, root part 3b are formed in a fixed pitch with uniform height and depth as the whole. The pipe main body P subjected to a primary bending and side seam joining is fed to a fixing part 9. The side seaming part H is fed forwards via an upper forming roll 12 and the pressure fitting roll 10 inside a core 10 fixes the part H with its pressure fitting. At this time, the crest part 3a and root part 3b of the mating part are large at their contact area, hence the mating part is surely fixed. Consequently the fixture of the seaming part is ensured.

CONSTITUTION:A core 5 is fixed to the tip of the rod 7 projected from a supporting body to support a press-fitting roll 8 freely turnably in the inner part. On the roll 8, the guide plates 8a, 8b regulating the width and height of the side seaming part H are provided and the recessed places 9, 9 having a step difference at equal intervals are formed. When the part H of the pipe main body reaches a fixing part 3, an upper forming roll 10 moves the part H forwards and the press-fitting roll 8 forms a pressure fitting part I and non- pressure part J in order. Therefore, the slippage in the pipe longitudinal direc tion is prevented by the inner part projection of the pressure-fitting part I and non-pressure part J. Consequently the fixture of the part H is stabilized.
