    • PURPOSE:To obtain an electric typewriter enabling to typewrite lightly and at high speed, by typewriting by types arranged on a loop form type belt.     • PURPOSE:To increase compression ratio for improving efficiency by swinging and rotating vanes having a cylindrical slide surface eccentrically arranged to reduce residual compressed gas in discharge stroke. CONSTITUTION:Compressed gas in suction stroke is sucked from an intake port 11 into a space defined by a rotor 6, adjacent blades 8 and a slide surface 2. When the adjacent vanes 8 thus pass by the lower dead point, since a rotor 6 is eccentrically journalled, they gradually incline forwards to narrow the space so that the gas is compressed until they reach just before the upper dead point. Thus, residual compressed gas is reduced to increase the compression ratio for improving efficiency.
