Respective beams 6 and 8 for moving the die 9 and a supporting shaft 24 to which a cross joint is pivotally jointed are moved together in the direction of approaching the jack 7, and the die 9 also moves in the direction of approaching the jack 7 by the cross joint through lock arms 26. Accordingly, a pressing force P is added to the pipe 10, and reactions R1 and R2 are added to the pipe by the dies 14 and 16, to bend the pipe 10.

    • PURPOSE:To bend a pipe without damaging the surface of the pipe by holding three points of the pipe at equal intervals and giving pressing force to the center and giving reaction force to both sides by extension of a jack. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 11 to be worked is passed through a pipe plunger punch 10 and fitted to pipe receiving dies 7, 9. When a hydraulic jack 1 is extended, jack seats 12, 14 move in the direction to separate from each other and consequently, compression beams 2, 4 turn around pivots 17, 18 in the direction to part from each other. An axis 20 to which plunger punch pulling beams 3, 5 and a cross joint 19 are pivoted moves to approach the hydraulic jack 1. At the same time, the pipe plunger punch 10 is moved to approach the hydraulic jack 1 by the cross joint 19 through clamp arms 21, 22. Thus, pressing force is given to the pipe 11 by the pipe plunger punch 10 and reaction force is given by pipe receiving dies 7, 9, and the pipe 11 is bent.
