    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the automatic traveling of a mobile vehicle along its guide path in a proper steering state by eliminating the influence of inclination in width and front-back directions of the vehicle body and detecting property the lateral displacement and inclination of the vehicle against the guide path. SOLUTION: A guiding beam light is projected along a guide path, and a mobile vehicle is provided with a pair of optical sensors S1 and S2 which are placed side by side in the front-back direction of the vehicle body with a space secured between them and also have the light receiving positions with the prescribed resolution in the width direction of the vehicle body, a pitching angle detection means 21, and a rolling angle detection means 20. A position detection means 102 calculates the lateral displacement of the vehicle against its guide path based on the reception information on at least the sensor S1 and also calculates the inclination of the vehicle against its guide path based on the light reception information on both sensors S1 and S2 and on the front-back space information on the vehicle body. Then the means 102 corrects the detection information on both displacement and inclination of the vehicle based on the pitching and rolling angle detection information and performs the steering control of the vehicle based on these corrected information to make the vehicle travel automatically along its guide path.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for seedling roots, capable of driving the cutting of mat-like seedling roots even while using a conventional seedling raising box. SOLUTION: This cutter for seedling roots is equipped with a lifting apparatus 5 for rolling up seedling ends in a seedling raising box and a cutting apparatus 7 for pushing cutting blades 6 into a space between the rolled up seedling and the seedling raising box and driving the cutting of roots entangled in the seedling raising box 1. The cutting apparatus 7 consists of the cutting blades 6 wound on a drum 12 and an electric motor 9 for reversibly rotating the drum 12. Power is transmitted from the cutting apparatus 7 to the lifting apparatus 5 so as to roll up the seedling ends when the cutting blades 6 are rushed in and moved. A one-way clutch 21 is installed so as not to drive the lifting device 5 when the cutting blades 6 are wound up. Even though the clutch is laid, so as to prevent the fear of reverse driving with taking and rotating the blades, a position maintaining mechanism (f) for forcing and retaining the lifting device 5 at an operation starting position is installed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link control system designed to link a link arm on the body proper side to a to-be-linked part on a to-be-linked device side in a proper state while the limitations to the position of the to-be-linked device are reduced to a minimum. SOLUTION: This system is so designed that the body proper side is mounted with a turnable and lengthways extendingly operable conveyor 35 and a body proper side control means to control both the turning and extendible behavior of a conveyor 35, while a rice transplanter TU (a to-be-linked device) side with a to-be-linked part 41 to link the tip of the conveyor 35 thereto and a video camera to detect whether or not the to-be-linked part 41 is situated on the line extended from the conveyor 35. This system has such scheme that, based on the detection information from the video camera, the conveyor 35 is put to turning operation so that the to-be-linked part 41 is situated on the line extended from the conveyor 35, and the conveyor 35 is extended so as to link the tip of the conveyor 35 to the to-be-linked part 41, and as the conveyor 35 is turned, the to-be-linked part 41 is put to turning operation so that the to-be-linked part 41 represents a specified posture so as to be linked to the tip of the conveyor 35.
