    • PURPOSE:To reduce the turbine area of the exhaust turbine in a supercharger for increasing the energy recovery efficiency by providing a means such as the installation of air-flow control throttling devices and heat-exchangers to the intake bypass device and to the hot-air supply device constituting a turbosupercharging engine respectively. CONSTITUTION:The principal part of a turbosupercharging engine 1 is made up of an intake bypass device 2 and a hot-air supply device 3. In this case, in the intake bypass device 2, a throttling device 20 is arranged in the intake bypass passage 19 that has been branched from an intake passage 32 for communicating the engine body 10 with the air compressor 16 of a supercharger 13. And a heat-exchanger 24 that has been connected to the throttling device 20 for heating the intake air supplied through the intake bypass passage 19 by the exhaust heat of the exhaust gas from the exhaust turbine 14 of the supercharger 13 is arranged. Further, a volume-adding pipe 28 is connected to the heat-exchanger 24. On the other hand, in the hot-air supply device 3, a throttling device 35 is arranged in the intake air discharge passage 34 that has been branched from the intake passage 32. And a heat-exchanger 37 that has been connected to the throttling device 35 for heating the intake air by the exhaust heat of the exhaust gas is arranged.
