    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method inexpensively manufacturing a battery case in an industrially advantageous condition.
      SOLUTION: The battery case 100 is formed in such a way that: a die assembly 16 is formed by coaxially assembling a punching die 20, a drawing die 22, redrawing dies 24, 26, and an ironing die 28 in order of size of die holes 32-40 so as to make them immovable; a first, a second, a third punches 68, 70, 72 are arranged coaxially to the die assembly 16 so as to be insertable into the die holes 32-40 with a moving mechanism 74; blanking of a metal plate is performed with the first punch 68 and the punching die 20; drawing of the metal plate after blanking is performed with the second punch 70 and the drawing die 22; and then redrawing and the ironing are continuously performed to an intermediate work with the third punch 72 and the redrawing dies 24, 26.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture as mass production a multistage pulley of an exact shape having no variations, by inserting an elastic body into a reserve molding, and forming a prescribed flange in order toward the opening part side from the bottom part side of the reverse molding, by means of bulge press working. CONSTITUTION:A cup-like reserve molding 12 is formed by performing the first (b) and the second reducing processes (c), an external form punching process (d) and a bending process (e), to a metallic base plate. An elastic body is inserted into this molding 12, bulge press working (f) of the second stage is executed to a circumferential wall 16 being near a bottom part 14 of the molding 12, subsequently, the elastic body is removed, and by adherence working, a flange 18 is formed at first. Subsequently, to the circumferential wall 16 being near an opening part 19, reserve bulge working (h) is executed by using other elastic body, and after that, regular bulge working (i) for molding a V-groove 20 of the first stage and a V-grooves 22 of the second stage at the same time is executed by use of other elastic body. Subsequently, the elastic body is removed, finish bulge working (j) is executed, and in the end, punching working (k) is executed, by which a multistage pulley molding 24 is obtained.
