    • PURPOSE:To automate the shaving of a round rice cake and to improve the production efficiency of rice cracker raw material, by using a shaving apparatus composed of a forming vessel containing a hardened round rice cake fitted to a core and an attaching and detaching apparatus to enable the automatic attaching and detaching of the forming vessel to a rotary shaft of the shaving apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A hardened round rice cake 1 is put into a forming vessel 3 with a core 2. An attaching and detaching apparatus D is composed of a transferring member 11, a positioning roller to rotate the forming vessel 3 transferred to the transferring member 11 from a waiting part (conventional driving roller conveyer), a first attaching and detaching apparatus 21 for holding the positioned forming vessel 3, attaching to a rotary shaft 7 of a shaving apparatus 6 and temporarily keeping only the empty forming vessel 3 to the original positioning part, a second attaching and detaching apparatus 31 for detaching the residual shaved round rice cake together with the core 2 from the rotary shaft of the shaving apparatus 6, attaching the core 2 to the waiting empty forming vessel 3 and removing the residual round rice cake from the core 2 and discharging from the system and a temporary core-fixing device acting synchronous to the second attaching and detaching apparatus 31 and temporarily fixing the core attached to an empty forming vessel to the attached state.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a tank capable of taking a heat storage capacity to the maximum and of securing the flow speed of a heat transfer medium having the temperature efficiency of heat exchange by determining the diameter of the heat storage tank and the ratio of the full length to a specific renge and closely accommodating small spherical heat storage bodies 12 filled with heat storage mediums in the heat storage tank. CONSTITUTION:When the diameter of a heat storage tank 1 is represented by D and a length between one drum lid 3 and other drum lid 4 by L, the ratio between D:L is set in a range of 1:3-6. The reason why the length L is selected within the range of 3-6 with respect to the diamet D which is set at 1 is because a large or small pressure loss is caused as a result of a fluid friction depending upon the number of small spherical heat storage bodies. The heat transfer medium enters into one partitioned chamber 10 through one connecting port 5 by the pressure of a pump, and is widely diffused along the wall surface of the partitioned room 10, and then flows equally into respective parts having a section perpendicularly intersecting the flow direction toward the inside 11 of the tank through respective flow ports 9 of flow diffused members 7. Then, the heat transfer medium passes through cavities of the group of small spherical heat storage bodies 12 densely accommodated in the tank, and is heat-exchanged with these heat storage bodies 12, thus reaching other parts and flowing out of respective flow ports 9 of the diffusion members 8 and leaving the tank.
